Cathedral Park:
N. Edison St & Pittsburg Ave. under the St. Johns Bridge, Portland, OR, USA

- The PORTLAND PIRATE FESTIVAL is an annual family-oriented event that promotes fun and education through Historical Re-enactment, Music, Dance, and Interactive Theater along with cultural awareness while providing philanthropic involvement with local and national charities.
If you've ever dreamt about Treasure Island or longed for a peg leg and a shoulder-perching parrot, rush to this incredibly fun festival. Cathedral Park is recreated as a pirate village, peopled by costumed attendees and featuring a 19th-century privateer, cannon fights, and all sorts of talented buskers. Music, entertainment, food and drink (a pint of ale, anyone?), and a market featuring all things nautical, historical, and pirate-related (down to buccaneer hats, swords, and garb for endangered damsels) can be found. Kids' activities add a family-friendly quality, and good-natured revelry is widespread.

- The Pirates Charles need YOU to come and make some noise!
All ages event with full bar. $15.00 per ticket. Doors open at 1PM for all day/ night music fest. The Pirates Charles at 7:00 PM, March 21st.
Revolutionary Entertainment is once again promoting The Pirates Charles, at the next Maximum Exposure Showcase. (A HUGE opportunity for us! For those of you that don't know it, a 'Showcase' refers specifically to a gig in which record execs and managers and other music industry people are 'shopping' for bands. A showcase is unlike other gigs because of the V.I.P.s hosting the event, watching from the crowd, seeking great bands to form business relationships with.)
The Pirates Charles will be performing at this showcase, rather specifically, to draw the attention of further record execs and music industry professionals. The last "Max. Exp. Showcase" we played brought us into contact and communication with professionals and managers that are currently working with us to develop our career in order to enable us to play music full time.
I'd like to thank all the friends, fans, and pirates that showed up to the last one. Your presence at the last one was more valuable than I can illustrate in helping us capture the attention of the management, promoters, and record execs present. We did so well last time, in fact, that we were given our choice of stage times for this event!
In January, YOU (our fans) helped us get the attention of every single professional we sought out to meet. ~Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.~ To those who wish to support us further, and help us reach our goals as musicians, please come (dressed piratically or street), bring friends, and above all, make some noise to show the professionals behind this one just how much you love The Pirates Charles!
Thank you for your support in January! With your help this time, who knows what tomorrow will hold!
